Billy Lurken is a dynamic singer-songwriter and seasoned multi-instrumentalist rooted in Mitchell, South Dakota—where heartland storytelling meets a world of musical influence. With a sound shaped by legends like The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Prince, KISS, and Elvis Costello, Billy picked up the guitar at age nine and never looked back. By high school, he was already sharing his skills as a teacher and performer, laying the foundation for a life in music.

Armed with a degree in music composition from Minnesota State University Moorhead, Billy took his passion on the road—living and performing in Fargo, Nashville, and even spending a few years in Scotland. Each stop in his life expanded his sonic range, weaving folk, country, jazz, bluegrass, and blues into a rich, rootsy tapestry that’s unmistakably his own.
